SENSORT announced a $20 million investment to expand its research and development center at the company’s Suzhou headquarters. The expansion will double the facility’s research capacity and create 150 new high-tech jobs over the next three years.
The expanded R&D center will feature state-of-the-art laboratories for AI development, sensor technology, robotics integration, and material science. A key focus will be developing next-generation sorting technologies that combine multiple sensing modalities for even greater accuracy and throughput.
“Innovation is the lifeblood of our company,” said Dr. Zhang Wei, CTO. “This investment ensures we stay at the cutting edge of sorting technology and continue to deliver solutions that our customers need to compete in an increasingly demanding market.”
The expansion is scheduled for completion by Q2 2027 and will include a dedicated customer innovation lab where clients can collaborate with SENSORT engineers on custom solutions.
